Srinagar: BIG FM, one of India’s largest radio networks, kick starts the warm summers in Srinagar with the launch of ‘Youngistan’ with multi-talented RJ Amir Ashraf Mir. The afternoon show specially curated for Srinagar listeners, is guaranteed to give a unique taste of the city. The show has a unique investigative, fun-filled format which is public centric. Listeners can tune into BIG FM from Monday to Saturday between 1:00 PM to 04:00 PM and continue their day with style and a smile. 

Taking a humorous approach, the afternoon show aims to bring a fresh perspective to all of Srinagar’s favorite grouses. The show will introduce its listeners to a distinctive valley city, one which they live but didn’t observe differently. Having the city’s vibe coursing through his veins, RJ Amir’s comedic talent and versatile personality will add a humorous dimension to the day-to-day life of Mumbaikars. 

On launching the show, BIG FM spokesperson said, “With the launch of our refreshed afternoon show, we want to offer the listeners a transformed experience. The show will highlight the positive side of the city while keeping the humor intact. Amir is an alumnus of Kashmir University’s MERC department and was working in Mumbai before taking up the current assignment. He brings with him a vast experience including his work with leading production houses in Mumbai including Fireworks Production, Colosceum Media Private Ltd and Greed Goddess Mumbai. He has also performed in Television serials like Aahat on Sony, Twist Walla Love on Channel V and Northern Flavours on Zee Living foods as Associate producer to name a few.
