Srinagar: Government forces Thursday morning launched a cordon-and-search operation in a village in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Reports said that acting on “inputs about presence of militants” in Mir Mohalla, a joint team of army’s 13 RR, CRPF, and SOG laid a siege Thursday morning .

They said that door to door search operation is underway.
