Srinagar: An unidentified woman Tuesday morning attempted suicide by jumping into river Jhelum in Srinagar.
Reports said that a lady jumped into Jhelum this morning at Safakadal in Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar. However people around who saw her jump into the river rescued her and with the help of Police shifted her to a local hospital.
Police has taken congnizance of the incident and started investigations.
