Srinagar: In view of strike call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership, the government has decided to impose restrictions in Srinagar.

“In view of the strike call given by separatists on 24/02/2019, there are credible inputs that the miscreants may resort various acts which will be prejudicial to the to the public order,” according to the order issued by the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar.

As such, the order said section 144 would be imposed in Srinagar and restrictions will be imposed under five police stations coming under the jurisdiction of Maisuma, MR Ganj, Nowhatta, Khanyar, and Rainawari.
