Srinagar: Weather is likely to improve from Friday forenoon in Jammu and Kashmir, Director Meteorological Department, Sonam Lotus said on Thursday.

Lotus said that light to moderate rain, snow has been reported at widespread places of the state during past 24hrs.

“Today weather is most likely to remain overcast to cloudy throughout the state with intermittent light rain/snow,” he said, adding that moderate spell is expected during intervening night of 14-15 Feb.

“Overall improvement is likely from 15 Feb forenoon,” Lotus said.
