Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Tuesday expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its “unwavering and vigorous” support to the Right to Self-Determination of Kashmiris.
Pakistan is observing “Kashmir Solidarity Day” on Tuesday to express its solidarity with the people of Kashmir. Reports said that several events are being held across Pakistan in support of Kashmir’s freedom movement while Pakistan observes an official holiday.
“As Pakistan observes #KashmirSolidarityDay people of Jammu & Kashmir express their gratitude to the state and its people for their vigorous and unwavering support to our democratic struggle for right to self determination.Want to share that the backlash of grave human rights abuses, repression inflicted upon us the people of Kashmir for pursuing our dream is unprecedented ! (SIC) ,” Mirwaiz wrote on twitter.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday said that the Humanity is bleeding in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that Pakistan will continue to stand by the people of Kashmir. “You are not alone in your just struggle for self determination.”
“In Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir, humanity is bleeding, No doctrine of state security or sovereignty can justify such heinous acts of violence. Pakistan has and will continue to stand by the people of Kashmir. You are not alone in your just struggle for self determination. (SIC),” he tweeted.
