Srinagar: Thousands of people Saturday marched towards the gunfight site in Arizal village of Tral township in southern Kahsmir’s Pulwama district.

Eyewitnesses said that thousands of people from several adjoining villages started marching towards the gunfight siye as the news about the killing of top Hizb commander Hammad Khan spread.

Meanwhile sources said that the intense stone pelting clashes between civilian protesters and the government forces continued t this hour since the encounter began earlier today.

Youths took to streets and pelted government forces with stones who retaliated firing pellets and tear smoke shells.

Meanwhile, reports said that the government forces while mistaking the mourners in a funeral of a local lady as protesters fired pellets and tearsmoke shells at them injuring two civilians critically.

The two injured civilians have been referred from SDH Tral to Srinagar hospital for treatment. Hospital sources said that one of the injured has received a shell injury to his head and another is injured with pellets.
