Srinagar: Government forces Friday cordoned two villages in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district and launched search operations.

Reports said that a joint team of Army’s 14 Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operation Group and paramilitary CRPF conducted searches in Gojerpati area of the district.”Another search operation was launched in Sodnara village of Sumbal in Bandipora district.”

The search operations were launched following specific inputs about movement of militants in the village, they said.
