7 IAS, 24 KAS to superannuate next year in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: The state of Jammu and Kashmir, which presently is having over 70 civil servants and more than 500 KAS officers, will face crunch in the administrational functioning as out of these, seven IAS and as many as 24 KAS officers are attaining superannuation in the year 2019.

Presently there are 72 IAS and 524 KAS officers serving in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

As per official record, IAS officers comprising Krishan Balabh Agarwal (batch 1985) is retiring in January, Mohammad Javed Khan (batch 2005) is retiring in February, Hilal Ahmad Parray (batch 2001), in March 2019, Suresh Kumar (batch 1986) in May 2019 and Lokesh Dutt Jha (batch 1986) and Baseer Ahmed Khan (batch 2000) will be attaining superannuation in the month of June next year.

However, in July, Shahid Anaytaullah (batch 2000) and Basharat Saleem (batch 2001) are also going to be retired.

Meanwhile the list of KAS officers retiring next year is comprised of 24 persons, which included Dara Singh Kotwal and Mohd Afzal, in January besides Mohammad Saleem Shishgar, Mohammad Ishaq Shah, Mohammad Shafi Dar, are retiring in the month of February.

In March, Dr Abdul Rashid, Manohar Lal Raina, Abdul Hamid, Avtar Krishan Koul, and Abdul Rashid Mir, are retiring superannuating in March whereas in April, Peerzada Hafizullah Shah, Laiq Parvez, Ravi Paul Magotra and Devinder Kumar, will get retire from the services.

However, Anil Kumar Gupta, Mohammad Hussain Mir and Raja Jee Bhat, are retiring in May while Manmohan Singh is retiring in July.

Choudhary Rashid Azam Inqalabi, Ghulam Rasool are retiring in August while in September, Avtar Singh Chib, Suman Bala, are retiring and Nasir Ahmad Naqash, will be superannuating in October besides Sunita Anand in December.
