SFJ’s ‘Kartarpur Convention 2019’ is ISI game plan, says Punjab CM

New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Capt. Amarinder Singh on Tuesday urged Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to ‘stop’ actions by various anti-India forces in his country if he is ‘serious’ about peace with India and alleged that the ‘proposed Kartarpur Convention 2019’ of US-based Sikh for Justice (SFJ) is in effect an “ISI game plan”.

“By seeking help of Pak Army to ‘liberate’ our Punjab, the Sikh for Justice have exposed their nexus with ISI. Their proposed Kartarpur Convention 2019 is an ISI game plan,” Capt Amarinder Singh tweeted.

In another missive, he wrote: “PM Imran Khan must stop them if serious about peace with India”.

The Chief Minister also marked his Tweet to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and also the Ministry of External Affairs in India and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

According to media reports, Sikh For Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has sought Pakistan Prime Minister’s ‘help’ to push the Khalistani cause.

‘Sikh for Justice’ is known as a pro-Khalistan US-based organisation.

Punjab Chief Minister had earlier too cautioned that SFJ was playing into the hands of Pakistan’s secret service ISI.
