South Kashmir: Pulwama parts shut against militant killings

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in parts of southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday against the killing of two local Hizb militants including a district commander.

Reports said that all shops and other business establishments are closed in Awantipora, Khrew, Shar Shali and other villages and towns.

Two Hizb militants Adnan Ahmad Lone alias Uqaab son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone, a resident of Braw Bandina, Awantipora and Adil Bilal Bhat alias Umair Al Hizbi son of Bilal Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Malangpora, Pulwama were killed in an encounter with government forces at Shar Shali area of Pampore on Thursday
