Sheikh Abdullah was a Jackal, says Sehrai, ‘Kashmiri’s bearing brunt of his mistakes’

Srinagar: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chairperson Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai Wednesday said that Jammu and Kashmir National Conference founder Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah was a Jackal and not a Lion.

“What has he ever done to be called a lion,” Sehrai asked. “It was Sheikh’s mistakes that the people of Kashmir are bearing the brunt for,” Sherai said while addressing mourners at slain Hurriyat leader Mir Hafizullah’s residence.

Sherai said that while Sheikh’s first mistake of 1947 could be forgiven and it can be assumed that he was betrayed the first time but then he repeatedly betrayed the people of Kashmir, knowing well whatever he was up to.

Sehrai’s address to mourners was broadcast live on social networking site facebook.

Sehrai claimed that people have been armed to wipe out Jama’at–e-Islami and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.

“The plan to wipe out Jama’at and TeH is being executed and people have been armed to carry out this job,” claimed Sehrai. “In mid-nineties what Ikhwan did to Jama’at is being repeated with Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.”
