Srinagar: The roads connecting Machil and Keran sectors of northern Kashmir with district headquarters Kupwara have been shut after snowfall, reports said on Tuesday.

They however said that the road connecting remote Karnah with Kupwara remained open for vehicular traffic.

Meanwhile reports of rains from plains of Kupwara and snow in upper reaches were received from the district.
