Etawah: Reiterating that Ram temple will be constructed in Ayodhya, Vishva Hindu Parishad has claimed that over 10,000 seers will participate in Sant Sammelan, to be organised here in December.
VHP Kanpur division in-charge Awadesh Bhadauriya and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manish Yadav Patre here on Sunday said that VHP will organise a Sant Sammelan here in December. They said that conference would be organised with the help of Sankat Mochan Bala Ji temple management committee.
Mr Bhadauriya said that date and venue of the conference has to be decided yet but as per initial discussions it will be organised in first week of December. Saints and seer from across the country will attend the conference, he pointed out.
VHP activist said reason behind conferences at many places was delay in Ram temple construction and with saints strategies would be discussed for temple construction. First conference will be held in Etawah and then in other districts too, he added.
The conference was taken as big move from VHP. The first conference will be held in strong zone of Samajwadi Party (SP) also the initiative of VHP will bring political tide in state politics and will change statistics of opposition before Lok Sabha elections.
Van Vihar, an event of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is being considered as preparations before Lok Sabha elections. Grand organisation before general elections across the country at the time when BJP has government at Center and state also may pave way for Ram temple construction in Ayodhya.
