Soldier killed in ‘unprovoked’ Indian firing along LoC, says Pakistan Army

Srinagar: A Pakistan Army soldier was killed in “unprovoked firing” from Indian troops on the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistan media reports quoting a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

Sepoy Zaheer Ahmed was killed in the Thub sector of the LoC. He belonged to village Sultan Pur in Bhimber district and is survived by a widow.

The Pakistan military’s media wing added that Pakistan Army troops “retaliated effectively and engaged enemy’s posts involved in the unprovoked firing.”
