Srinagar: Government on Monday ordered closure of college and Higher Secondary schools in Sopore area of northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district on October 23.

An order issued by the additional district magistrate said:”It is hereby ordered that the Govt Degree College, Hr Secondary Boys, Hr Secondary Girls and Welkin’s Hr Secondary in Sopore town shall remain closed on 23rd October 2018 in view of the prevailing situation as a precautionary measure.”

However, the order said, all other educational institutions in Sub-division Sopore shall remain open.
