Srinagar: Tral township of Pulwama district in southern Kashmir is observing a complete shutdown on Monday against the killing of a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander in a gunfight on Sunday.
Reports said that all the shops, business establishments, government and private offices are shut while public transport was mostly off the roads.
Jaish-e-Muhammad commander, identified as Adnan, was killed and a forces personnel injured in day-long gunfight in Aripal village of the township yesterday.
Three civilians were also wounded in the ensuing clashes.
