Srinagar: Men in uniform on Wednesday thrashed a photojournalist Jahangir shah working with local news gathering agency CNS in Srinagar while he was performing his professional duties.Was let go only after beating and thrashing.
“I was there to perform my professional duties as the men in uniform not only thrash me but stopped me from performing my work,” Jahangir said.
The authorities had put Restrictions to thwart any attempts of taking out traditional 8th Muharram procession.
Score of police and CRPF personnels were deployed in Srinagar areas to foil the procession.
