Srinagar:  GOC 15 Corps Lt General A K Bhat and other ranks paid tributes to Lance Naik

Mukhtar Ahmad Naik who was shot dead by militants in Kulgam district of south Kashmir on Monday.

A Defence Ministry spokesman said here on Tuesday that in a solemn ceremony at Badami Bagh Cantonment Lt Gen Bhatt, Chinar Corps Commander and all ranks paid homage to the slain soldier.

He said representatives from other security agencies also joined in paying their last respects to the slain soldier.

Mukhtar was shot dead by the militants at his home in Shurat village yesterday.
