Srinagar: The joint teams of Army, Jammu and Kashmir police and the CRPF on Monday launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports said that the forces laid siege to a number of villages in Nowshera sector of Rajouri in the wee hours of Monday.

Sources said that the operation was launched after inputs about the militant movement in the villages near Lamberi.

The CASO was going on when reports last came in.
