NEW DELHI: JNU student leader Umar Khalid was Monday fired upon by an unknown assailant but escaped unharmed. The incident happened outside Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. Khalid was there to attend a rally to protest against lynchings, and crimes against women. The incident took place 200m away from the Parliament’s wall.
