Jammu:  Authorities on Monday suspended vehicular movement over Jammu-Srinagar Highway after multiple landslides triggered by heavy rains in Ramban and Udhampur districts blocked the road. Mughal road however is through for two-way traffic.

According to officials the road was blocked by landslides at Seri in Ramban district and Kheri in Udhampur district, they said.

“There is no damage or casualty in these landslides,” officials said, adding that over 300 vehicles were stranded at various places en route.

Men and machinery, according to officials, have been put to work.
