Srinagar: An elderly man died after falling down from a moving bus in Saderkote Payeen village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.

A police official said that Ghulam Mohiudin Ganai (60), a resident of Saderkote Payeen of Bandipora district, died on the spot after he fell down from a moving bus, bearing registration number JK01W 5525.

He said that accident took place when the bus was traveling from Saderkote Payeen to Bandipora.

An FIR was registered in this regard, he said, adding that the body of the deceased was handed over to his family for last rites.
