Srinaagr: Following the encounter between militants and government forces, internet services has been suspended in Shopian district off south Kashmir on Tuesday.

Earlier the internet service was snapped in Shopian and other parts of south Kashmir on Friday last after three people, including a teenage girl was killed in army firing in Kulgam district.

Shopian’s Kundalan village is witnessing massive protests as government forces are battling a group of militants holed up in a residential house.

Over a dozen people have sustained injuries in the ongoing clashes
