Political parties say governor rule better than elected one

Governor NN Vohra has ruled the state four times

Srinagar: Political parties say that governor rule in Jammu and Kashmir is better than the elected ones as it has brought a semblance of normalcy in the state.

Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir said people feel sigh of relief after toppling of the PDP-BJP govt in the state.

He said both the parties victimized and discriminated the people after securing votes from them.

They played with emotion of the people for the sake of coming into power, Mir said.

Addressing day long delegate convention of Dooru Assembly Segment at Omoh Verrinag, Mir said the toppling of govt unceremoniously will not save the BJP from the damages, for the fact people have realized that this party has vitiated atmosphere in the country due to their wrong approach.

Similarly, Democratic Party Nationalist leader GH Hassan Mir, while holding a public meeting at Kunzer town Hall said governors rule in the state has brought solace to the general public and the people feel relaxed.

He said that during the early government the functioning of Government institutions had become politicised because of which common people were suffering.

In his speech Mir said time is ripe to save our youth from violence and give them a hope and way forward for a dignified future.

“Our youth has lost the will to live a dignified life instead they prefer death over life. There is need to rekindle the hope to live in our youth,” Mir said.
