Six troopers killed in Maoist attack in Jharkhand

Srinagar:At least six troopers belonging to  the Jharkhand Jaguar Force were killed on Wednesday   in a landmine blast carried out by Maoists in Jharkhand’s Garhwa district,  Media reports said.

Media reports said quoted deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Vipul Shukla as saying that the police got information that some Maoists were present in the Chinjo area of Garhwa district.

He was quoted as saying that  when the paramilitary personnel  went to the area last evening, the Maoists carried out a landmine blast and opened fire, killing six troopers  of the Jharkhand Jaguar Force.
