Srinagar: Delhi government on Tuesday issued a notice to former Chief Minister, Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti asked her to vacate the official residence of Delhi with a stipulated time period of one week.

Sources said that the the notice came today asking her to vacate her official residence in a week.

Her official residence is 5, Akbar road in Delhi.

Earlier Mehbooba sent her resignation to governor N N Vohra, after BJP pulled out their alliance with the ruling PDP in Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP’s decision to end coalition leaves PDP with just 28 out of 87 elected seats.
