Srinagar: A 19 year old youth  identified as Shahid Nazir Hajam who was injured  at the site of  Nowshahra-Srigufwara gunfight between  government forces and militants on Friday succumbed to injuries at SKIMS in Srinagar, reports said

Hajam  a resident of Sirhama village of Anantnag,  was injured during the encounter at Nowshahra-Srigufwara, the village of Bijbehara tehsil of Islamabad on June 22, 2018.

Hajam was admitted in SKIMS ICU with  after sustaining fire arm injury.

On Friday, four militants, one  civilian and a policeman were killed during an encounter while  several others sustained injuries.
