Srinagar : Two Militants have been killed so far in an encounter at Srigufwara area south Kashmir’s Anantnag District.

Earlier, encounter between militants and government forces started early morning on Friday.

One civilian who is reported to be the owner of the house where militants are trapped  and a cop belonging to the Jammu and Kashmir Police  have also been killed in the encounter so far.

Clashes have been going on in the area since morning resulting in injuries to scores of youth as government forces resorted to tear gas shelling and pellet firing to thwart the protesters who were trying to disrupt the ongoing operation.
