Srinagar : A cop belonging to the Jammu and Kashmir Police who was earlier injured in the gunfight at Srigufwara area of Anantnag has succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Reports  said that during an early exchange of firing two civilians, 2 Armymen and one cop of JK Police was injured. They were immediately rushed to nearby hospital where one civilian and cop succumbed to their injuries.

The civilian was identified as Mohammad Yousuf who was the owner of the house where militants are believed to be trapped.
