BJP nominated Vice Chairpersons of PSUs, autonomous bodies to quit in next two days: Kavinder Gupta

'Can't occupy offices now'

Jammu: Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) on Wednesday nominated Vice Chairpersons of various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and autonomous bodies will quit their offices in next two days citing that they can’t occupy offices now after the fall of PDP-BJP coalition government.

Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said ‘when the PDP nominated Vice Chairpersons of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and autonomous bodies have starting quitting from their positions, the BJP nominated Vice Chairpersons of various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and autonomous bodies will also quit in next one or two days’.

Earlier in the day senior PDP leaders Peerzada Mansoor Hussain and Nayeema Ahmed Mehjoor resigned from the positions of Vice Chairman J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board (J&K KVIB) and Chief of the State Women’s Commission respectively.
