Two injured after car plunges into a gorge in Doda

Srinagar: Two persons were injured after a car they were travelling in met with an accident in Thathri area of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Sources said a car bearing registration number JKO2BV-8399 was on its way from Kishtwar to Jammu when the driver lost control over it.

The car skidded off the road and plunged into a 100ft deep gorge at Kandote near Thathri, 30 km from Doda town, resulting into injuries to two persons.

Both have been rescued from the vehicle and were shifted to Trauma Hospital Thathri for treatment.
