South Kashmir: Youth killed, another injured in ‘army firing’ in Kulgam

Srinagar: A youth  was killed and another sustained injuries in alleged army firing in Nowpora Akhran village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.

Sources said that after the youths pelted stones on army patrolling party, they in response fired bullets in them.

During the firing two civilians were hit by bullets identified as Ajaz Ahmad son of Bashir Ahmad and Rayees Ahmad.

Both of them were rushed to Anantnag Hospital were doctors declared one as brought dead.

The dead has been identified as Aijaz Ahmad who was hit in chest.

Meanwhile another youthe Rayees,  is also said to be in critical condition and is being treated in DH Kulgam.
