Suspected militants on Wednesday late night shot and injured a Special Police Officer SPO in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Sources said that the militants fired up on an SPO identified as Rayees Ahmad lone of Kathohalan.

During the firing the cop sustained multiple bullets and is said to be critical.
