Hurriyat leader and the Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Friday appealed the people of Kashmir to remember the families of ‘Martyrs” on the occasion of Eid and celebrate it with simplicity
Waza addressing public gathering in Hangul Gund Kokarnag condemned the atrocities committed on Kashmiris by Indian troops even during the holy month of Kashmir
He said that brute force was used to suppress the ongoing ‘liberation’ movement, adding that people were tortured and harassed to silent their voice for freedom.
The JKPL Chairman demanded the UN General Secretary to intervene in resumption of the dialogue process between Pakistan and India to settle the Kashmir dispute.
Waza was accompanied by his associates, Nisar Ahmad Rather, Shabir Ahmad Nanwai, Fayaz Ahmad and others who also reiterated to continue on going freedom struggle.
