A gunfight between militants and government forces broke out at Shiltheria area of Haril Langate in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district during wee hours of Friday

Reports said that 30 RR cordoned off Dobimohalla Haril after receiving information about the presence of militants.

As the forces reached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired on them resulting in a gunfight.

Reports said that militants escaped from the area but officials are yet to disclose the actual position
