One person was killed and three others injured in a road accident in Banihal area of South Kashmir on Monday.

Sources said that three passengers were injured after a Maruti car hit with a truck.

All the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where one injured, identified as Ghulam Mohiuddin of Rajpora, succumbed.

The two injured persons have been referred to SMHS hospital for treatment.
