Army pays tribute to soldier killed in militant attack in Pulwama

Army on Tuesday paid rich tribute to a soldier, who was killed in a militant attack on a security force camp in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.

The soldier Sep Vikram Singh had sustained a bullet injury during an attack by militants on Kakapora Army camp on Sunday night.

“He was provided immediate first aid and evacuated to 92 Base Hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries,” said the spokesman.

“He belonged to Village Ladpur of Chhata Tehsil in Mathura District, Uttar Pradesh and is survived by his wife,” he said.
