Pakistan wins Lord’s test by 9 wickets

Pakistan on Sunday registered an emphatic win after beating England by 9 wickets  at the Lord’s cricket ground.

After winning the toss England captain Joe Root opted to bat, a decision that raised eyebrows right after it’s execution as England were bundled out for  a paltry 184 odd runs. With fast bowler Mohammad Abass picking up four in his Lord’s debut

Pakistan in it’s reply scored 363 runs gaining a  lead of 179 run, Babar Azam top scoring with a classic 68. Azam was looking good to get his name registered on the Lord’s Honor board, a Stokes bouncer however injured Azam and he retired hurt

England in it’s second innings scored 242 runs, Amir and Abass both picking 4 wickets each

Needing just 64 runs to win, Pakistan lost Azhar Ali in the process, thus winning by nine wickets

Mohammad Abass was declared man of the match for his 8 wickets in the match

Pakistan now has an unassailable lead in the 2 match test series
