Quran teaches us to hold the rope of Allah and demonstrate firmness and steadfastness in all situations.

Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani on Sunday said that India has no moral right to use “military might” against legal and due right of “subjugated people” in state.Geelani said while addressing a gathering on a day-long “Nazool-e- Quran “Conference at his Hyderpora residence.

Geelani while referring to forced occupation by Indian forces, said it is sad, gloomy and unfortunate chapter of history.

“Whole nation of Kashmir has rendered unprecedented sacrifices against this unjustified occupation,” Geelani said.

He further said that the universal message of Holy Quran is for all humans and is a source of immense inspiration, guidance and wisdom for whole humanity all over the world.
He said Quran is a book not just to be read, but to be studied, understood, implemented in every sphere of life and ultimately revered.

He further said that Quran Lays stress on unity among all followers of Prophet Muhammad (saw), saying the holy book teaches us to hold the rope of Allah and demonstrate firmness and steadfastness in all situations.

Before the revelation of Holy Quran on Prophet Muhammad, the deliverance of justice was a dream, but it is the Quran that inspired humans to deliver justice against all odds without consideration of creed, cast, relation and status, Geelani said.

Geelani expressed his deep concern about the miserable situation of Muslim Ummah, saying it is because we are not following Quran in its spirit.

Most of the individuals did not distinguish between virtue and vice but are following different theories and traits such as honesty, truthfulness and spirituality are becoming extinct with every passing day, he said.
