Chief Justice Sudhakar, Justice Mir accorded affectionate farewell by JK High Court at Jammu

To bid adieu to the Acting Chief Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir on their being appointed as respective Chief Justice of Manipur and Meghalaya High Courts, a full court farewell reference was held at High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu here today.

The reference was attended by Judges of the High Court which includes Justice Alok Aradhe, Justice D S Thakur, Justice TashiRabstan, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal, and Justice Sanjay Gupta, Officers of the Registry, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice, Registrar Judicial, Registrar Vigilance and other staff members of the High Court.

Proceedings were conducted by Registrar Judicial Varinder Singh Bhau while the Sr. Advocate General S. S. Nanda highlighted the multifaceted personality of the Acting Chief Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir.

During their farewell speech, Chief Justice Acting Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir expressed their gratitude and affection for the entire judicial system of the state of J&K and also praised the staff of the high court for their dedication and commitment.

Later on, in another function at High Court, staff of High Court gave farewell to both the Judges and also welcomed Justice Alok Aradhe for being appointed as Acting Chief Justice.

Sr. Joginder Singh, Joint Registrar conducted the proceeding on behalf of High Court staff and spoke at length in the honour of both the judges. Mementoes were presented to them on behalf of High Court Staff as token of love.
