Sumbal shuts to protest against injuring of cart driver

Following the strike call by Trader’s Federation Sumbal, a complete shutdown is being observed in Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday against the injuring of a cart driver by the forces.

The strike call was given by the Trader’s Federation Sumbal aginst the recent brutal act of forces, in which a cart driver Abdul Rashid-50 was hit with pellets in his eyes.

Meanwhile sources said that all shops, schools and buisiness establishments are shut and traffic is off the roads.

The Trader’s Federation Sumbal threatens that the strike shall continue till an FIR would be lodged against the accused policeman who fired pellets on innocent shopkeeper Abdul Rashid, now battling for eye sight at SKIMS.
