Srinagar, Nov 15: A 22-year-old person was killed after being hit by a moving train in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday morning, officials said.

They said that the person was hit along Mazhama-Budgam railway station, resulting in his instant death. “A police team reached the spot and took the body into its possession”, they said adding the deceased was later on identified as Mohammad Yaqoob Dar (22) son of Mohammad Shaban Dar, a resident of Shahgund Bandipora.

“A case has been registered under relevant sections for investigations”, they further said.
