COVID-19: Cases continue to rise in J&K as 65 fresh cases reported in J&K

Srinagar, Jun 25 (KNO): The Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir have started to show upward tick as 65 fresh cases were reported in the UT on Saturday.

Details available  reveals that 65 fresh cases were reported in J&K which includes 19 from Kashmir division and 46 from Jammu division.

It also adds that there are now 106 active cases in Kashmir division besides that 188 active cases are from Jammu division.

Active cases from Kashmir division includes 78 from Srinagar, three from Baramulla, seven from Budgam, one from Pulwama, 10 from Kupwara, three from Ganderbal and 4 from Kulgam, however, there are no active cases in Anantnag, Bandipora and Shopian.

Furthermore, in Jammu division, 188 active cases in Jammu division includes 165 from Jammu district, four from Udhampur, 13 from Samba, two each from Doda and Kuthua and one each from Poonch and Ramban while as there are no active cases from Rajouri, Kishtwar and Reasi.

So far 4755 persons who were tested positive for Covid-19 have died in J&K which includes 2425 from Kashmir and 2330 from Jammu.
