Pulwama, Mar 11: An encounter between militants and forces broke out in Chewaklan area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Police sources said that a cordon and search operation in Chewaklan village turned into encounter.

Sources added that village had been cordoned off after receiving inputs about the movement of militants.

“There was an exchange of fire between militants and forces. Two to three militants are believed to be trapped.” knt
