Operate int’l flights from Srinagar Airport: KCCI to Govt

He stated that this issue has already been taken up with the government, adding that there should be some seriousness for operating the flight from Srinagar international airport.

Ashiq also said that the government should also resume Srinagar-Dubai flights again and the traders should be also taken on board to ensure that the move is successful, adding that the operation of international flights from Srinagar airport, would not help the businesses only but would also bring respite to the people as well.

He further said that the operation of international flights would also help in revival of tourism sector, which has got affected in the past due to Covid-19 and said that the spring season is approaching and the government should come up with decision that would ensure spring of opportunities to the people of Kashmir. kno
