DSEK Places School Principal Under Suspension For Lack Of Preparedness

Srinagar, March 3 : The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has suspended Principal Government Boys Higher Secondary School Soura Srinagar for failure to put in place necessary paraphernalia on the re-opening of the institution after a long hiatus.  

“No preparations had been made for reopening school despite clear cut instructions. No sanitization or disinfection measures were carried. There were no sanitizers etc,” Director School Education Kashmir Tassaduq Hussain Mir said.

The principal Nazir Ahmed Khan has been attached with the office of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Srinagar, pending enquiry into his conduct by Chief Education Officer Srinagar.

The CEO Srinagar has been asked to inquire into the matter within seven days and “fix the responsibility on the other delinquent officers and officials of the institution”.

A charge sheet shall follow subsequently, reads an issued in this direction. gns
