Srinagar, Sep 14: Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday witnessed 150 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,325, while no death was reported in the last 24 hours.
With no more deaths, the death toll in the UT stands at 4,414 and 150 fresh positive cases reported on Tuesday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 327,140.
Of the exact number of 327,140 cases, 203,793 are from Kashmir division and 123,347 from Jammu division. Officials said that among 150 new cases, 112 belong to Kashmir division while as 38 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 203,793 including 200,447 recoveries and 2,246 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 123,347 including 120,954 recoveries and 2,168 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,325 including 1,100 from Kashmir division and 225 from Jammu division.
With 72 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 321,401 which is 98.26 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 72 from Srinagar, 10 from Baramulla, 11 from Budgam, 04 from Pulwama, 03 from Kupwara, 02 from Anantnag, 03 from Bandipora, 03 from Ganderbal, 01 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 38 from Jammu division include 08 from Jammu, 00 from Udhampur, 05 from Rajouri, 07 from Doda, 01 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 02 from Kishtwar, 04 from Poonch, 01 from Ramban and 10 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Tuesday said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 46.
As per officials figures, 73,234 positive cases including 837 deaths and 71,741 recoveries are from Srinagar, 24,100 including 282 deaths and 23,667 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,370 including 23,044 recoveries and 207 deaths are from Budgam, 15,387 including 15,166 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,297 including 166 deaths and 14,098 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,478 including 16,253 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,682 cases including 9,552 and 101 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,188 including 10,079 recoveries and 79 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,455 including 11,306 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,602 including 5,541 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 53,077 including 51,888 recoveries and 1,142 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,389 including 11,245 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,130 including 10,871 recoveries and 236 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,680 including 7,499 recoveries and 131 deaths are from Doda, 9,288 including 9,135 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,138 including 7,013 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,799 including 4,743 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,339 including 6,227 recoveries and 97 deaths are from Poonch, 6,007 including 5,931 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,500 including 6,402 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 3,411,311 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 8,855 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,325 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,931,686 persons have completed the surveillance period and 465,028 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 14,034,141 samples are available. Out of 14,034,141 the number of samples tested negative stands at 13,707,001 while as 327,140 have tested positive, among them 1,325 persons are active, 321,401 persons have recovered and 4,414 persons have died.
