Srinagar, July 29:A soldier was injured in a mine blast in the Mankote sector along LoC in the Mendhar area of Poonch district Thursday. 

Official sources said that sepoy Mukesh Kumar, was on operational duty in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch district on Thursday night. While moving during duty, he was injured in an accidental mine blast, they said.

He was immediately rushed to the Command hospital Udhampur for advanced treatment.

Earlier, last Friday One Indian Army personnel was killed in a mine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Mankote sector. kns
