12 persons injured as oil-tanker collides with mini-bus in Sopore

Srinagar, Jul 29: At least twelve persons were injured after an oil-tanker collided with a mini-bus on Thursday evening in Sopore in north-Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that the incident occurred at bye-pass Sopore when an oil-tanker collided head on with a mini-bus – on its way back from Dargah Hazratbal. In the incident, twelve people boarding the mini-bus were injured and immediately taken to SDH Sopore.

Confirming the incident, a police official concerned said that the injured were immediately removed to SDH Sopore.

Meanwhile BMO Sopore said that twelve persons have received injuries in the incident and three with relatively serious injuries have been referred to GMC Baramulla for advanced treatment. gns
